Porta Botteghelle Beach, Trapani: it is one of the most beautiful and frequented city beaches thanks to the sloping seabed that is particularly suitable for families with children. Bathed in a blue and transparent sea, it is characterized by very fine and white sand. The beach of San Giuliano, Torre di Ligny Beach, San Teodoro Beach and Marausa Beach with fine sand and shallow water are also worthy of mention in Trapani.

Alcamo Marina Beach, Alcamo: of great naturalistic interest are the dunes of Alcamo Marina characterized by the presence of the sea lily, the ravastrello and the agropyrum junceum. The long beach of Alcamo Mariana extends into this evocative and wild landscape and is increasingly sought after and frequented by tourists.

Cala dei Turchi, Campobello di Mazara: so called in memory of the ancient landings of the Arab pirates in Sicily, the Cala is easily reached by the coastal road that leads from Mazara del Vallo to Torretta di Capo Granitola. The beach, of sand and rock, is framed in a beautiful creek of tufa while the sea that bathes it is blue, clear and incredibly transparent.

Scopello beach, Castellamare del Golfo: it is one of the most famous beaches of Sicily thanks to an incomparable view made up of faraglioni emerging from the water, from the towers and the tonnara. The sea is crystal clear and the coast hides suggestive inlets to explore with mask and tankard. Still noteworthy in the town the Guidaloca Beach characterized by white pebbles and transparent bottoms and gently sloping towards the open sea. In summer the beach is equipped with sun loungers and parasols.

Beaches of the Zingaro Reserve, Castellammare del Golfo-San Vito Lo Capo: set in one of the most evocative and unspoiled landscapes of Sicily, the Reserve’s beaches are characterized by small inlets almost all sandy, washed by a transparent, crystalline turquoise sea. Seven Calette to visit: Cala Tonnarella dell’Uzzo; Cale dell’Uzzo; Cala Marinella; Cala Beretta; Cala della Disa; Cala del Varo and Cala Capreira. Along the paths leading to the beaches it is possible to organize picnics in the designated areas while it is forbidden to enter any type of domestic animal due to the presence of wild animals in the Reserve. Remember that to reach the beaches you must park your car at the entrance to the Reserve and continue walking along the steep paths that reach the sea. It is advisable to wear suitable shoes and avoid the hottest hours of the day for traveling.

Tre Fontane Beach, Castelvetrano: characterized by the presence of freshwater springs, the beach, wide and golden sand, is bathed by a clear sea with depths that gently slope out to sea, ideal for families with children. Tre Fontane is easily reachable by car and offers any service. Still to be noted near the archaeological remains of the acropolis of Selinunte the Marinella Beach.

Baia Cornino, Custonaci: it is part of the marvelous and uncontaminated nature reserve of Monte Cofano and boasts a picturesque coastline where both a well-equipped beach and a part of a natural cliff with wooden platforms are located to facilitate access to the sea.

Beach of San Giuliano, Erice: this is the city beach that extends from the Dante Alighieri promenade to the Mulini bay. The beach is partly free and partly equipped. The sea has sandy and sloping seabeds, ideal for children.

Cala Rossa, Favignana: located on the north-eastern side of the island, is the most beautiful and renowned beach of Favignana. The coastline is characterized by large flat rocks, while further west there is a small sandy stretch that is more comfortable especially for families. Just beyond Cala Rossa it is also possible to visit Cala Bue Marino di Favignana, named after the monk seal that once resided in the area and which is one of the most suggestive descents to the sea. Noteworthy among the numerous and beautiful beaches of the island of Favignana: Cala Azzurro (beach with rocks); Lido Burrone beach (sandy beach); Praia Beach; Cala Grande beach; Marasolo Beach; Cala Moni beach (cliff and small beaches); Puntazza beach; Cala Faraglioni; Calamoni Beach; Punta Longa beach; Cala Rotonda and Cala del Pozzo.

Beaches of the Egadi Islands: In addition to the wonderful beaches of Favignana, the beaches and coves that dot the other islands of the Egadi archipelago deserve a mention apart. On the island of Levanzo (10th) we recommend the Cala Minnola Beach and the Porto di Levanzo Beach, a small pebble and pebble beach that allows easy access to the turquoise waters of Levanzo. Then we end our review with the Praia Nacchi Beach on the island of Marettimo (10b).

Punta Tramontana Beach, Marsala: located within the Regional Natural Reserve of the Stagnone Islands, it is a beach of light sand bathed by a beautiful turquoise and transparent sea. Still noteworthy in Marsala the Lido Signorino Beach, a beautiful beach equipped with fine white sand characterized by a long beach that runs along the village.

Capo Feto beach, Mazara del Vallo: splendid wild beach belonging to the Protected Area of ​​Capo Feto, one of the last surviving wetlands in Sicily. The area, declared SIC area (Site of Community Importance) consists of about 450 hectares of sandy dunes and small bodies of water. The sea that bathes the beach is beautiful, transparent and crystal clear.

Cala Gadir, Pantelleria: the Cala is located close to the ancient seafaring village of the same name and a few minutes from a diving center. Cala Gadir is well known not only for its beautiful seabeds but also for its thermal waters: even if there is not a real spa, it is frequented annually by many visitors who immerse themselves in the thermal baths located in the natural points of affinement at the level of the sea. Noteworthy on the island: Cala Arco dell’Elefante of Pantelleria, symbol of the island together with the Faraglione of Punta Tracino; Lake of the Mirror of Venus; Cala Cinque Denti; Pond of the Ondine; Cala Cottone; Cala Tramontana and Cala Levante.

San Vito Lo Capo Beach, San Vito Lo Capo: enclosed in a small bay between the Zingaro Nature Reserve and the Monte Cofano Reserve, the extensive beach of San Vito Lo Capo is characterized by its fine white sand bathed by a turquoise sea, clear and transparent. The beach is well equipped and offers bars, tavernas and the opportunity to practice some water and beach sports. Noteworthy in San Vito Lo Capo, in addition to the wonderful coves of the Zingaro Reserve: the Bue Marino Beach in the hamlet of Macari, one of the most beautiful and visited in the area; the Bay of Santa Margherita in the hamlet of Castelluzzo and the beach of the ancient Tonnara del Secco.
